Dickens House

Dickens House unwraps the holiday season for San Mateo and its surrounding communities

Dickens House is the major annual fundraising event benefiting the students and programs of St. Matthew's Episcopal Day School in San Mateo.

Now in its twenthieth year, Dickens House is a designer showcase and holiday boutique that is a widely anticipated fall event in the Peninsula community. Top Bay Area designers donate their time to redecorate a different home each year, which is then filled with exquisite holiday and artisan merchandise that can be purchased by visitors to the show house.

Each year, an average of eight thousand visitors attend this two-week event, which is organized and run by school volunteers. Dickens House is a wonderful opportunity to share in the holiday spirit and get involved in the school community.

The Dickens House Steering Committee is always delighted to have extended family and non-school volunteers from the community participate in this event.
